What was your favorite overheard conversation?

Overheard a relationship break down in public. Turns out the guy caught the girl cheating. With several men. Of course, she cried at first, and when he didn't budge she got angry, said it was his fault. He brought up how he paid for everything like rent and food while all her money was hers. I was already leaving at that point, so I didn't catch the end. Hope he got away from her.

I overheard it when I was 14. I was flying up to Minnesota from Florida to visit some friends of mine, but I was flying on a companion pass since my family didn't have much money and my grandfather worked for the airline. Because of the pass, I had to take an EARLY flight, something like 5:30, and the flight itself wasn't much to speak of: just a little puddle jumper.

I was barely awake, dressed in a suit ("It's the proper way to fly, young man."), and sitting at the front of the plane. In the seat behind me were two older women who were having a very audible conversation that went something like this:

Lady 1: "So we're flying here to see what? Chipmunks?"
Lady 2: "No Martha, CHIPPENDALES."
Lady 1: "...what is that again?"
Lady 2: "Ya know. Those nekkid men who flop around on stage!"
Lady 1: "Ohhhhh yeah!!"
Both ladies proceed to giggle dirtily.

I had never felt so scandalized in all my young life. 馃槀

@raysam363 I am much more aware of that at 32 than I was at 14, fortunately. 馃槀馃槀

In the end, she gave me the best blow job I've ever had and I forgave her and took her out for a Big Mac and fries.

@hunkalove Given the area, you might not even be joking.

I was at a bar a few years ago, and a lady at the next table over was starting a story with "So I was just there in my bikini..."

And then our waitress came over to take our order so I missed the good part of the conversation, and it ended with,
"...and that's how I ended up on the terrorist watch list."

I have never wanted to overhear a stranger's story more than that time, and I am now forever cursed to remain unenlightened of how she ended up on that list.

Only one line of a conversation

Walking last two women in a mall, one says to the other

"And then he just started touching me!"
