So you inherit a million dollars from a distant relative you weren't even aware of... What do you do now?

How do you go about spending your newfound fortune?

Buy a small plot of woodland and put lots of yurts on it. Then charge a fortune to rich people so they can rough it for fun.

Hire a lawyer to give like £20k each to all my friends and family anonymously, and have them sign an agreement saying they will not try to discover where the money came from.

Then if they see me spending extra money they'll think I got an anonymous gift just like they did, and nobody will treat me any differently.

Then buy some sweet ass hats.

Currently there are no "NON-Religious 501 NFPO organizations. ALL 501 NFPO organizations have a certain religious push, even scientific 501 NFPOs...so

66% to invest in a non religious children's foundation whose eventual goal is to help kids under 13 in a non-religious way (food, clothing, non-religous school projects, non-religious trips, related expenses).

At first not a NFPO since 666,666 isn't enough. Money just put on investment only hold to build it upto 6 million. Then switch to full non religious charity. At anytime the total investment goes below 4 million it goes back on investment hold.

33% for personal stuff. Note I probably won't live long enough to even spend that. Anything left will go back into the investment foundation. I won't be alive to see the start of the charity foundation.

@Platinum As long as you have good tenants that don't trash the place..

I would always put in the contract that I would inspect them every three months and if there is any damage they will have broken their contract and must leave the house.....I've done it before and it worked....@AuRevoir
