So can we agree that the claim that Donald Trump has done more for black americans than John Lewis is ridiculous?

Whether you like trump or not surely this one is a no brainer? One dedicated his entire life to black equality and the other is just some rich guy. Like for real?

What did John Lewis ever do for the black community?

President Trump has done things that actually get people out of poverty, not things that just keep people stable in poverty and happy in poverty.

Democrats have had many failed programs and then 'fundamentally transformed' them to cost more money to be redirected to democrat campaigns and blacks never got jack shit.

@Budwick yeah bite me. You're the one talking out of your ass. John Lewis was a noble man who did great things.

Trump is a rich idiot who pays other people to do morally dubious things at best.

You're the one who subscribes to that shit not me. Funny how I know more about it than you though.

Yeah, you knew Lewis' big accomplishment was getting his ass beat.

You know, this is your post, I'm pretty sure you can erase it .
No one other than the 46 people that have already seen it, and know you were talking out your ass wouldn't be any the wiser!

@Eternity It is a proven fact that electricians suffer from brain damage caused by electric charges to the brain causing early onset of dementia. I see you are an electrician and most likely a card carrying union member.

@jackjjackson Nah, those certificats aren't made to hold a relay race with Jack. You keep it and stuff it back into your ass.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I already did before giving it to you. @Kwek00
monte3 · 70-79, M
Yup it is ridiculous. And dumb and insulting to anyone with a brain. But I can just imagine the always trumpets defending it here. 😉
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Please explain your position. @monte3
monte3 · 70-79, M
@jackjjackson the guy who uses a red x as an argument asks me what my position is? 🙄.
My statement was in answer to 5he OP.
But ok respectfully: the statement that Trump has done more for blacks than anyone, simply by being the happy recipient of Obama’s job growth bonanza, than oh say John Lewis or LBJ, or he’ll anyone..
We could also go into Trump’s attempt to scare white suburbanites and claim that is he is keepin blacks out of 5he suburbs. But that is another discussion.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You have zero facts to back up even one of those claims. @monte3
The theory is that since Trump happened to be in office from 2017 to 2020 when the economy was continuing its growth that began in 2009 under Obama, and Black people benefitted from this along with everyone else, Trump basically gets credit for sitting on his ass during this time.

It’s not like Trump initiated any specific programs aimed at improving Black economic heath.

@LeopoldBloom True, but his base do not care about facts like that, as we well know.

Yeah, it kinda is like that!

President Trump has made fighting for Historically Black Colleges and Universities. His administration in one year alone appropriated more money to HBCUs than any other president, and he has taken steps to establish the Presidential Board of Advisors on HBCUs.

The Trump administration has also worked to create Opportunity Zones that spur investment into disadvantaged communities, impacting as many as 1.4 million minority households. These zones help put a priority on rebuilding and bettering many African American communities that have long been forgotten under prior administrations.
People applaud as Blacks For Trump group walk by on Oct. 19, 2018.

But, you aren't expected to actually know shit before you start belly aching about it, I mean, your just a Marxist - and dependent on government for everything.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
They lie for the fun of it. Can’t help themselves. @Budwick

Indeed we can agree.

@jackjjackson You mean that you said: "jobs"... that's pretty much all you did.

And then I showed you the stats. And you called me a douchebag and fucked off. Which was actually the smartest thing you did during the entire conversation.

On March 7, 1965, Lewis played a pivotal role in one the most important events in the history of the American civil rights movement when he and King lieutenant Hosea Williams led some 600 peaceful demonstrators on a march in support of voting rights that departed from Selma, with the capitol in Montgomery, Alabama, as its destination.....that’s like 5 seconds of looking and just one example
Budwick · 70-79, M
@dommagic Wow! He walked?
With 600 other people?

That is really something, eh?
dommagic · M
You said name one thing Slick, don’t blame me if you’re not bright enough to figure it out @Budwick
I guess he should just give everyone a mobile ph and food stamps..

FACEPALM
Black equality ? - How long are we going to "milk" this phrase ? Until the next black boob gets arrested by the mean white cops for doing absolutely nothing ?
@SW-User I was just giving you an example of the poor Disenfranchised "Hobbled Black Man"
monte3 · 70-79, M
@MarmeeMarch you do realize that John Lewis fought to give blacks in the south the right to vote? There was no equality, he worked to produce it. Kind of like Rosa Parks fighting to not be treated like a second class citizen. 🤷‍♂️.
@monte3 That's nice.....

As long as they have both helped the black community , there is no problem....
