I was just wondering if bats across borders could also potentially be carriers of covid19 via some sort of social or ecological chain?

馃 while googling how to handle bats stuck in my apartment, I came across a wildlife website that talks about a very common issue of bats in urban areas stealthily residing in attics of houses, only to be discovered incidentally or when the stench of their decaying bodies/dung is picked up by residents.
Edit: I might post this question again at a different time to possibly get answers from more people.
