Sometimes I wish I could just stay home

Since Corona started, I’ve still gone into work all but one day I was scheduled. I’ve seen far too many people the last few months not following the recommendations of just one family member shopping, only go out for what you need, maintain a social distance. Granted most are trying to stay safe, but some are not. Now that things are starting to open up over the next few weeks, I’m afraid many will think the “new normal” means a return to the “old normal”. Go out in groups, hang out in the stores to browse and kill time.

Every day that I work, when I get home, I toss my clothes immediately in the laundry and head for the shower. I take my temperature a couple times before bed, just to be sure. So far, so good, but I’ll admit, I’m worn out. The mental and physical wear of each day leaves me with not a lot of energy to enjoy my time away from work. Cut back my hours a little bit the last couple weeks, and that seems to have helped a bit.

Hoping for a better summer for me, for everyone. Stay safe everyone, and remember, For better or worse, what you do when you leave home impacts not just yourself, but everyone you come in contact with.
We have already seen in Ca. where beaches were opened and people threw caution to the wind so many were closed again. I wish people would use common sense.

This pandemic is NOT over and these abuses of quarantine are going to cause a massive wave of new cases.

@Grateful4you common sense is sadly far less common than it should be. I’m worried about what kind of spike we will see by the end of the month with some of that behaviour

Thanks for all you’re doing!! and I hope everyone that’s had to work through this gets some sort of recognition when this is over x
