I almost did. I agreed to meet a guy here, and I drove many miles to meet up with him. Then he never showed up, no text message or phone call, he just stood me up as the old expression goes.

My theory is he took a look at me and my fat ass from a distance as I arrived at the motel...and ran in the other direction.

It was the first attempt I made to have a date since my long time boyfriend died back in 1993 (his Marlboro Lights got him, lung cancer).

My last attempt. I should've known better. Now I do.
