Why is human abortion legal, but dog abortion isnt?

Dog abortion is legal. They do it here if a stray is picked up and is pregnant

The choice belongs to the dog carrying the puppies. A dog cannot make a conscious choice to abort the puppies. We cannot abort someone else's puppies. A woman makes her own choice to abort. A female dog must make her own choice, but since she cannot, no abortion rights for dogs.
