My favorite part about that case is that before it turned into such a spectacle, before it gained national attention, every mf here in Chicago knew he was full of shit right from the start. His entire story was so unbelievable.
He says he was walking to Subway in the middle of the night to get a sandwich. Now that, I can believe. In fact, walking to Subway to buy a sandwich used to be a very common thing for me because there was a Subway at the end of my street and it was the only thing open after 1:00 a.m.
But on the night he claims to have been going to buy his sandwich, the outdoor temperature was -14 degrees Fahrenheit. Who goes for a sandwich after midnight in that kind of weather? Alright, fine. Maybe he was really hungry, and had warm clothes, and it was only a short walk to the Subway.
But then he gets attacked by a pair of muggers. Now who in the fuck walks around looking to mug people in -14 F? Not only would the muggers be freezing, but there's nobody out walking around, so who are they gonna mug?
And the muggers yell "This is MAGA country" at Jussie. In Chicago. One of the most anti-Trump cities in America. Not just that, but specifically in the Streeterville neighborhood, which has the least crime of almost any neighborhood in the city, and is even more anti-Trump than most of Chicago is.
So you're telling me a guy is walking to Subway for a sandwich in the middle of the night in ridiculously cold weather and is assaulted by a pair of assailants who are also inexplicably walking around in the aforementioned extreme weather conditions, in one of the safest neighborhoods in the city? And they start yelling pro-Trump things, in the most anti-Trump neighborhoods of one of the most anti-Trump cities in America?
Yeah. Fucking. Right.
