Have you ever had difficulty adjusting to the complicated social structuring and interaction of consolidated living?

@puck61 I ran into some absolutely insane people when I first moved here. I had one woman impersonate me. She used to call and tell people she was me, and order religious literature to be sent to me from HER religion. She would slide notes under my door...and they couldn't prove it was her so we couldn't prosecute her.

It's contagious. We live in a condo-community and the fight over HOA overreach Vs property owners has boiled over. The worse in the 20+ years we've lived here.

The HOA officials are trying to insert themselves into every aspect of ownership, even trying to influence who we can sell our properties too. The latest is they are wanting to impose a fine on owners who put their trash out too early or fail to retrieve empty trash containers soon enough after pickup.

@Heartlander I feel SO sorry for you. We lived in a townhouse condominium and the ex joined the HOA while he was disabled...it gave him something to do...and the meetings were all about the control freaks who could yell the loudest and complain the most often.
