I’m just not feeling the holiday spirit this year, anyone else?

I'm ready for January 2nd, leaving the hooplah behind and looking to Spring. 🌷

I'm not feeling it. The only reason this holiday was placed where it was was to try to erase a much older celebration that was of the Matriarchy. The is noting new for the Judeo Christian world as they have tried to blot out celebrations that didn't fir their narrative of a Patriarchy. Easter and Halloween are two other examples. Even the more recent Groundhog's Day was intentionally put where it was to make other forget about Imbolc, ther next turn, after Yule, of the The Wheel of the Year.

Christians have killed untold millions just to erase the Goddess and a Matriarch!

I can relate. Since I don't have plans for the holiday, I'm feeling less than festive. Christmas alone is not fun.
