libraries are free. i wouldn't pay for something i can do back home. here i can work and listen to a computer/tv and it doesn't cost anything.

@mysteryespresso better environment yeah but too restrictive. i cant make a cheese toastie during my 10 minute break half way through in a library. if its people you want to get away from then you might want to just reconsider your living arrangements.
@NeloAngelo I get motivated to work when I see other people doing their work that's the main reason why I would think there must be more people like me who would want to study in a public place

@mysteryespresso i would find other people distracting. but i suppose u could visit an internet Cafe.

One of the beauties of libraries is that access is free.
@Mamapolo2016 if someone had to open up such place, it would shut down because people wouldn't wanna pay for something they could get for free

@mysteryespresso I suspect it might be possible to open something like a cyber cafe with small private quiet cubicles, internet access, beverages and snacks. Kind of like "you do the working or studying, we do the rest." Maybe. Printers, copiers. Binders for reports. Maybe typing/proof-reading services. Like a Starbucks/Office Max/convenience store.

So like coffee shops? And I’d rather relax home
WizardOfAahs · 46-50, M
No... taxes pay for most libraries
