if you got slapped on the butt from a stranger does that equate into an assault charge?

a news anchor had her bottom slapped during a filming of a race, some creepy middle age man ran up behind her and slapped her on the behind and later got an assault charge.

@DragonFruit if a woman did that to a man would it be the same response? i know what he did was stupid but should of it got that far? ive got touched by a woman when helping at soup kitchen should of i pressed charges because she touched me?

@badapple It's not a question of whether you [b]should[/b] press charges (that’s up to you) but, if the touching was unwanted, you [b]could[/b] press charges because any unwanted touching can be viewed as an assault.

Legally I believe that can be considered sexual assault. If the offender wss an attractive guy she may have labeled it flirting. It's all about the perspective of the victim.
