Working hard for drugs

An example I have I wrote in a story I think towards the beginning of my time here. A man I knew had a conversation about how he came to be a follower of Jesus. He said that before he believed in Heaven or Hell before he knew of God he had found a family of skunks living in his backyard. He proceeded to murder the mother and babies with a shovel. I was speechless so uncomfortable and horrified really. He said he wouldn’t do that today because he knows God wouldn’t want it and there’s punishments etc.
