What is the shortest amount of time you stayed at a job?

2 hours. I watched the "supervisor" push a girl (who was sick) out of her chair. I stood up and said, "Wanna try that with me?"

At 18 I was sure I'd be an excellent waitress because my Mother and her sisters all worked as waitresses in the same diner for decades...figured it was in my DNA...i was wrong. Started at 6 a.m. my first day...at 8 a.m. I went outside for a Marlboro and kept walking to the bus stop. Nightmare job...but I'm a great tipper!

A day. I tried waitressing with no experience.

6 months and i got fired :(

Less than a day

halfpint one week i was on a training scheme in the early eighties with a firm that put up television until then i did not know i was scared of heights and i still am

A full day. The worst pain on my whole body I've ever felt. I could not move all week. I needed a better fit for my injuries.

3 weeks at this one place but while I was trying to learn I was treated like I was dumb, so I told them where to go and i quit.

2 hours. I left because I had kidney issues that I didn't know about suddenly show themselves that morning.

Three months polishing head stones for graves. It was a summer job and extremely tedious.

transcription , stayed there for like 10-15 mins and then I shook hand with the manager and left.

About a year. The job was abolished due to the poor economy.

Boss thought they could manipulate me due to my mental health.

One day and it wasn’t what I was lead to believe it would be.

I think just 7-8 weeks. It was only a summer job during my teen years.

Three months to complete internship work👩🏻‍🍳

I quit by noon.

4 years

A week.

6 mos; Along with everyone who had under 5 years I was laid off.
I was eventually called back but was working for a company that paid much more by then.
