Did you go to church during your childhood?

I stopped after my grandma died. Otherwise I went every week.
SW-User
My parents made me go. Then my parents didn't go so I didn't. Then they divorced and my mom found Jesus so we went. Then she met my step dad and stopped going, then they both found Jesus again.
I stopped going as an adult because I got tired of looking for a dude who kept going missing.

I was asked not to come any more after questioning the whole Noah story in great detail when I was in kindergarten. Apparently the Sunday school teacher thought I was a bad influence 😂

@ScarletWitch A good number of hugs can’t fly and would drown if that was the case. And even if you take that into account the sheer mass of just the mammals would fill the ark to capacity, let alone the reptiles and flightless birds of the world.

Not to mention the absolute lack of genetic diversity would have lead to severe birth defects and long term disorders from all the in breeding 🤷‍♂️

@Zaphod42 then again back then I dont think there were as many animals as there were today to be honest.
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
There were actually far more species back then. In the last 100 years or so we’ve managed to wipe out 1000s of species 😕@ScarletWitch

Yes, I was raised in the catholic church. I started to take issue with it when I was mid-teens or so, when I began to form a mind and opinion of my own.

I haven't been back since.

Yes, but more during my adolescence

Yes. Twice on Sundays usually, and often on Wednesday nights. My father was a deacon for a time. I did stop going too, though, when I was around 15.

I used to go every Sunday because I was in the choir, but I only went because I liked singing. They asked me to leave when they found out I was an atheist, lol 😂

Yes Sunday school then youth ministry etc up until I was a teenager then I stopped as I got disillusioned. I did attend a different church (CofE) with my mum and wife in early 20s. Again I got disillusioned and stopped
Yes, every week. I also went to a catholic elementary school so we had mass once a week while in school as well. I have left and gone back multiple times.
Throughout and beyond
