Has anyone else changed their minds about how they feel about politics here???

@ravenwind43 For me there was an aspect of learning the perspective of an opposing side of an issue. I like to understand things not just try to be right. But those days may have never been anyways. Maybe I just liked the confrontation and was no better than the rest.

@Dainbramadge Some people have burrowed themselves in like ticks. Independent voters like myself and a few others are still listening to the candidates on the Democrat side, to see which one is LESS dangerous than the others. IMO the congenital and chronic liars, (like Warren), and hypocrites, (like Sanders), are MORE dangerous than the others.

If it should happen that a Democrat candidate is ever nominated by his or her party, I want to prepare myself mentally for the fallout if he or she is ever elected.

@4meAndyou I understand what you are saying but do you get any of that from here? I mean overall I am sick of the entire thing on T.V., on Twitter, Facebook and mostly here.
On here people seem to think they are going to make a difference in how others are going to vote when in reality they are just making arenas for dispute and un-understanding rederick.
IDK I guess I have just come to the conclusion that all those posts are not doing any good and my participation is just as bad as the posters intent.

@Dainbramadge I think I have already blocked all of the people who are abusive and use bad language...so I am just getting positive reinforcement now from normal, sane people, and I don't think that's too bad. It makes me feel better.

@midnightsun What I meant to say was, even asking a simple question about, say, the impeachment is kind of useless isn't it. Nobody knows anything more than the other.

@Peaches I should do that too. I do spend way to much time here. Not to mention Facebook and Twitter. Over all it is just wasting time.

@wilderflower It used to be fun to get another persons perspective on political issues but it is just an insult fest any more for the most part.
I have officially taped out of it.

@SW-User I think I found several aspects about it interesting. One being learning how the opposing view saw an issue and their reasoning behind it. I just saw it as an information trade. Seldom turned out that way.
Another was so I could try to show people where I thought their logic had flaws. Trying to get them to see my view. It never worked.
And then the one I'm not so proud of but none the less I participated in most often was the insult trading. Yes I did enjoy someone attempting to get my goat by calling me vulgar names and making unsubstantiated claims towards my character. Maybe that part is just human nature. I did, however, never start that part.

@DudeistPriest I am 90%, if not more, sure you are very correct with this. People will argue a point to death neither is actually looking for the others perspective so they can see things differently.

@SW-User I know right???? Man and some are so addamint about it too. Some of these people only ask political posts constantly. I must say I used to participate on both ends regularly but no more. I'm sick of it. LOL

@SW-User Rabid is the perfect word to describe the people posting them and replying anymore. No one shares information anymore they just start with the insults as soon as you show the tinniest sign of disagreement.
