I have seen that a lot of people here on this website dislike snow for some unknown reason.

I lived for many years in places where snow was common, expected, and sometimes a LOT of it. I disliked some things about it, for sure. Never though, did I actually dislike [i]snow[/i]. That quietness especially at first, the beauty of smell it.

The first snow fall is beautiful, but having snow from November till March/April...ughhh

Maybe besides being beautiful, it is cold, and dangerous, and slippery, and squishy when it melts.

I love a good snow, especially if it is big enough to close everything down for a day.

I used to love it when school was out due to the snow.

I spent many years working in North Dakota, it was my earlier years and I loved cross country skiing and hiking wooded forest, but after the holidays it started getting old, month after month of COLD, then slush and mud.

As a true New Englander, it has its pluses and minuses. This New Englander had shoveled over and over and still loves the snow. ❄️ ⛄️ 🎿 🛷

I love snow. I was excited for the 3 inches we were promised but so far not a single flake.

Living in Texas all my life and meeting probably thousands of people who have moved here from colder climates I concluded that most people really don't like snow on a routine basis.

I imagine it’s people who have been overwhelmed by it periodically.
