How do you react to comments about your physical appearance?

Depends. If it's negative, I'll usually just laugh along -- unless it's about being skinny, which I'll just try to ignore. If it's positive, I'll give a stock 'thank you' because I find that super goddamn awkward.

Depends - it angers me when people say well you know your good looking so what's the problem ?? Some people have know idea.

If its negative then dont bother me as much

That depends on how respectful they are.

I have mirrors.
I know what I look like.

The people I care about know who I am.
What I look like is secondary at best.

If it's so important to someone to tell tell me something they think I may not be aware of - it generally makes me just laugh.

I do get some sometimes. Yesterday, I dressed full goth, and the lunch lady said I looked amazing and someone wrote “you look hot” on my whiteboard on my dorm door. Anyway, I love compliments 💕

Try not to overthink what people say, good or bad. Everyone has their own personal opinion about physical appearance, anyway.

I don't get too many. But because I try to look after myself by working out if a compliment was due it'd be kindly accepted

I thank them, if appropriate. Otherwise, I give them no reaction or response. Why feed them attention of any kind?

Most of the time, I respond favorably. But it really depends on the comment and who’s making it.

I listen to my wife, possibly my children, but ignore everyone else.

I try to laugh it off,but one can only deal with pitchforks and torches so many times...
