Remember how white people made all those nations poor by interfering?

Like Mongolia and southeastern Europe, it can never be their own fault for running their nations into the ground.
Miram · 31-35, F
I think the biggest challenge for those nations to evolve isn't poverty, past colonialism or current affairs.

It is the average man/woman unable to change their ways because they were brought up in a society that normalizes them. They have no notion of intellectual growth in absence of all demands for it.

The exceptions to this rule are feared and ostracized. In the west, the exceptions to this rule are supported in all areas of life which encourages their creativity and leadership skills even if the majority are well behind. The progress those few individuals make is then generalized to the rest of the population.. actually even when those individuals are outside their nations, they are brought in.

The first remark includes the nations that were colonized in the past.

I am not really convinced by how poverty is measured.
Yep. Whites are all inherently racist and haven’t done anything positive for the world yada yada yada...

@ShaythePanTransMan It's an Asian country that's next to China
ShaythePanTransMan · 22-25, T
@Jackaloftheazuresand ooh I didn’t know that existed
I also didn’t know Louisiana was a US state until about 2 months ago
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@ShaythePanTransMan was yours an urban or rural school?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
What do you mean? I was just wondering so I could answer.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Jackaloftheazuresand I think it did for sure. This link sums up my views pretty well but the interesting part is related to metacolonization towards the end. There's a part that explained about Africa being a shanty town because of a combination of them being a toxic waste dump for western countries.

@SatanBurger I love his dig at globalism.

His stance seems to be that because colonialism gave way to production and innovations for the colonizers that in turn made their society idolized and continues their power. It does but that's the fault of his countrymen. It's indirect and I don't usually deal in that.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Jackaloftheazuresand Well I believe in cause and effect consequences to everything we do so direct and indirect are part of the same problem, just in my opinion. I like the article because it focuses on who gets the power and who benefits from it. That's important when deciding how much harm colonization actually did or didn't do when put in that perspective.
cycleman · 61-69, M
it's how to exploit another part of the world in their favor.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@cycleman Interference? yeah but what exactly are you trying to tell me on the topic at hand
cycleman · 61-69, M
@Jackaloftheazuresand it's business
are you suggesting that colonialism was GOOD?
and btw Southeastern Europe IS white people
@Jackaloftheazuresand the history of Europe shows that ALL of the tools of conquest, used against the rest of the world, were FIRST developed for use against "Indigenous Europeans". Ever heard f the Roman empire? askthe german the gauls and the britians.
ever heard of the 4th crusade? it was aimed at the Baltic states white non Christians

@SteelHands um no! you got it backwards the theory of racism is
All X are Y
where X is a "race" and Y is some awful detail that they ALL have.

I do not believe this.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@SatyrService A thing which pretty much everyone experienced since you mentioned the Romans
@Jackaloftheazuresand RIGHT! it started there,, and infected the whole damn planet
