Is it possible that we keep shifting between parallel universes based on the little choices we make?

Are we always ping ponging back and forth?
But only have consciousness to handle one at a time so we don't feel the shift?

When we make an effort to change ourselves ...and the outcomes of different things change accordingly, is it because our universe has shifted slightly? Is that what the law of attraction is about as well?
