When someone hurts you, do you confront or ignore?

I fail at times but mostly I ignore. Someone on here the other day was talking trash about my dog (she is a pit bull). Took all I could muster to not lash out. I sent a message to a friend instead. My dog is my weak spot.

I tend to just move on. So ignore

Pretty much the same.

I confront and report.

Depends on a bunch of things. Some people get the can of whoop ass.
