Most interesting thing that happened at work?

Once orders were running behind so deliveries took over an hour to get to people. One lady complained about the wait and our manager said if our driver isn't there in 6 minutes then she will get her next order free. The driver gets there in 5 minutes. The lady's wife comes up to the store with the food, speaks to a different manager and called the other one fake, got a refund, then continued to complain. After all of that, she called us back and complained even more after she already got a refund and everything. She was also mad because she lived down the street, but it's also like if you are just down the street and don't wanna wait, then why don't you get up and come get it yourself? Customers man 🙄

@BobsGotBalls It only took 5 minutes because when she did call, someone was already out with her order and the driver was finishing up dropping off another order before hers. The drivers take orders by the oldest one, not who is the closest.

Ignoring the bathroom related incidents, the IT department decided to finally update out diagnostics system, something that had been done everywhere but our department. They chose to do this in the middle of a day, as it would be done before lunch.

Welp.

We were shut down for a week straight. When our backlog was already 4 times what it should be and more was coming in a day that what we'd expect for six days. They gave up and reverted things, only to try again 4 months later. Only down for 3 days that time.
