People that run for fun

Does there come a point where running actually feels good? Like you don't want to collapse and die anymore and just settle into it?

Sure. It's like any endurance activity. It sucks at first, then you find your groove, the endorphins start flowing and then you want more.

It's fun when you look at your body and see how much you improved. Also when you need a break from the world, you can just turn off and run.

Yes it does. Try slowing down to a pace in which you can maintain a conversation.

I have been running for a long time and I actually get twitchy if I miss a day or two. You'll get there if you stick to it.

No. That feeling is always there. You just get used to it. Personally I enjoy the pain. At this point I like the way it sucks.

It can take a little bit into the run but eventually it can be very calming.

Yeah but I have to be in the right mood as well as the right physical condition.

After a while the sense of touch in your legs gets knocked out, and running becomes more like a state of being rather than something you're actively doing.

I've gotten there once.
