What are some grammatical errors you see people make that drive you nuts?

uncalled4 · 56-60, M Best Comment
When people say something like "needs fixed". The fuck is that? It's "needs TO BE fixed" or "needs fixing".

The world appears to leak IQ points on a daily basis.

Thanks for BA.

I am not much of a grammar nazi, but incorrect use of there, their and they're, as well as to and too do in fact bug me, as that is pretty standard knowledge that we learn from an early age, specifically for native English speakers.
Brianthesnail · 56-60, M
@Bubbles many native's mix them up. Probably more because we learn the sound first

Honestly, grammatical errors happen. It does bug me I cannot lie about that. The thing that drives me crazy is a phrase used often here in the south: done did.

Example:

Me: “Josh can you take out the trash?”
Josh: “I already done did it.”

Boy that makes my skin crawl for some reason.

I moved to South Carolina when I was 17. I’ve hated it ever since then. @BitterSweetPotato

Or the “we was going to the store”. 😂@ChiyoSKL

Yup, that’s the kind of thing that irks me. Lol@Keepitsimple

When people say “am” instead of “I’m”

Grammatical errors don't drive me nuts. I'm a lot calmer than that...even today, after having to deal with a broken laptop. I do think people have to remember that we have a lot of people here whose native language is not English...and the Grammar Nazis need to cut ALL the peeps some slack.

I constantly mess up when I’m here and I’ve had people correct me here and privately and I told them to buzz off. There’s more to life then correcting somebody and having to make yourself look like you’re so wonderful.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
The phrase 'eat healthy'. It's an adverb. Not an adjective.
BitterSweetPotato · 31-35, F
Your and you're. Confuses me when I am reading.
Brianthesnail · 56-60, M
They make me laugh

All good :)

When people use objective pronouns when they should use subjective.

"Joanie and me went to the store."

The use of "your" when they should be using "you're"
