Do you enjoy autumn?

Fall is my favorite season 🧡 Especially early fall. It rains and it's cooler but the sun still comes out and days are 70°. The leaves are beautiful, there's less traffic from all the summer travelers going home, there's Hope for a good Christmas and New year. I get to wear jeans and stockings and sweaters, feel more dressed up. I love all the sweet and spiciness of fall, a hot coffee on a cool day... And Halloween is fun. :) When the rain season starts, I love the sound of it while I light a candle and write all day... Yeah it's a cozy time.

I love absolutely everything about fall except when it gets darker earlier.

I love the foggier nights, the changing colors of the trees, the fruit harvests, all the autumn festivals, fresh apple cider from the farmhouses, the bugs finally starting to go away again. Oh, and Halloween. Just all of it. The costumes, the spooky decorations, the parties. Halloween is my holiday!

Yes, the crisp cool chill of the evenings, the low hanging fog of the mornings, the bright colors of the leaves, the tang of smoke in the air from burning wood and leaves. October and Autumn go together.

I love autumn. I love the weather and the colors changing. I love the first smell of wood fires in the neighborhood. I love the melancholy mood.
