Do you have a good sense of million and billion?

I tend to do what you did and convert it into two units that I do understand, like units of time. Volume is good too - like how many thimblefuls in a swimming pool.

A thousand seconds is a coffe break. A million seconds is a vacation. A billion seconds is a career and a trillion seconds is 315 centuries.
