@KittenfromHell I’ve taken self-defense and martial arts classes, thank you. So if I have no other options I could probably defend myself. But it amuses me a little when a [b]man[/b] suggests that a woman escalate a situation where no one has put hands on her. I’m just not willing to be badly injured or killed just because someone’s said something stupid to me.

@bijouxbroussard Well thanks for assuming I'm a man. I'm a woman. Was born female and ran with it. You said you wanted to survive an encounter. That's assumes something might happen to put your life in jeopardy I simply supplied ways to free yourself and get help.

@KittenfromHell I didn’t assume [b]you[/b] were a man. I was speaking to [b]both[/b] of you. I initially addressed a man’s reply. He had suggested that the OP say something nasty and derisive to someone already insecure and volatile. I observed that it can escalate a situation and put a woman in actual physical danger. Then [b]you[/b] came in, with self defense tips. I took self defense classes, for the reasons you’ve stated. But why escalate a situation just to get the last word ?
