Are these dolls racist?

These "feel better dolls" were marketed as a stress reliever with instructions to hit the doll against the wall whenever the user was stressed. They seem like Dammit Doll ripoffs, only with a more questionable design. Do you think these dolls are racist? Sidenote: Something tells me that the answers to this question will not be unanimous, which saddens me greatly.
Yeah, it's fucked up. I don't see how the subject of choice of color wasn't addressed in the creation of this object, nor in the board meetings before putting it into production. It seems blatantly racist.

I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️

You never really know the intent of people and the thought behind their creations. Maybe it was coincidental, or maybe it was made with a racist mindset.

I would agree that making the doll red, or blue, or another color would’ve made it better, though.

@65Roses A school in Laxa, Sweeden has banned Gingerbread Men, because they might be considered racist

Racism exists in the minds of people... In their intent

It's a little reminiscent of a golliwog, and with the African color scheme in the hair...it seems a bit iffy. Don't know if I'd outright call it "racist". Just wonder why that was chosen to be the theme.

@AgapeLove Haha, okay, I can see your point 😂

It's un-pc but it's down to intent and i'm gonna go with "poor choice of theme".

Maybe if they were brown and came with a whip...

A doll can't be racist
melovemycats · 26-30, F
@calicuz You know, I actually thought about asking this question in a grammatically correct way, but then I was like fuck it, people know what I mean.

@melovemycats

Fair enough, then yes they are.

I don't think so...I guess they would be if they came with stereotypically, 40's fashion racist things on black cartoons and dolls such as big lips and a monkey like appearance.

No but maybe they should have been green or grey to be sure.

@Lilnonames They are not humans. They are cookies people.

Dolls are fake humans. Not them.
