I remember an episode of House M.D

A patient was inexplicably sick and House found out that he was sick because he was exposed to a toxin (of some sort) but instead of it hurting him then and there, it was stored in his fat cells. He was in a medically induced coma and his conditions was worsening quickly and thats how House figured it out. While his comatose body metabolized the fat cells, it also metabolized the toxins, making him sicker and sicker. I know its a far cry, and its a medical TV DRAMA! But i cant help but feel some sort of correlation. I was living in squaller, and my “house” was falling apart around me from termites. Ants. Spiders. You name it. My mother was the only working person in the family and she made minimum, supporting a family of 4. It was around my preteen i started packing on weight. By the time i started middle school i was 250 pounds. Over the years i gained 15 more pounds in fat. I left that entire environment, and its only been recent that my skin has been acting up. I also haven't had a body mass index this low since before middle school. Coincidence? Possibly

I have heard that toxins we are exposed to such as DDT get stored in our body fat and each time we diet to lose weight and lose fat that it overloads our livers and other organs and messes with metabolism causing weight loss to stop.
