Would you be okay with your spouse making close friends of the opposite gender after they became your spouse?

If a marriage isn't built on real love and a mutual trust, what's it really built on. I have a lot of female friends, and my wife has a number of male friends. We trust each other and are able have confidence in our relationship. That however is not the way everyone is.....so its a personal thing.

Probably not. I remember that I didn't like it when the ex bought me Burberry perfume and announced that he had smelled in on a co-worker and loved it. I started to wonder why he was sniffing a co-worker.
