Ever been asked if you are a different race and it left you confused?

I've been asked if I was various middle Eastern before, which I can understand, being of the Latin variety.

But I was asked if I was Korean once and it still confuses me.
Latino heritage is very closely tied to Asian....hair color, eye color, even sometimes eye shape....probably because of common ancestry that came to North America via the land bridge from Alaska to the Russia.

@anythingoes477 I guess so. Although I think my eyes are pretty generic, shape wise.
@grayhalo One person's traits don't have much to do with a population's traits in general. I'm sure you know some latino that has "kinda" oriental looking eyes.

All the time.
I've gone from being Hispanic to Italian, to Indian to Pakistani to Native American to Turkish to Saudi.
I'm English Cypriot.
I'm olive skin with freckles and dark hair and eyes.

Many people seem to think I’m Japanese but I no longer get confused by it as it happens quite often 🙂
Last time I checked my race I was human, beginning to doubt it now though
Are we talking race or ethnicity, I'm guessing we're all the same race😁

I have been asked if I was Hispanic and I'm truly not even remotely close.
Perhaps it was just a conversation starter 😊
