How much better off financially are you since Trumps tax changes ?

it bugs me when people think that if they are doing better then it is just fine.. meanwhile, the vast majority of people are doing far worse,, and ALL of us now have a 1.5 trillion dollar debt to pay off because of the tax cut.. how does that make you better off?

if i was super rich then I would be doing great.. but the rest of us are doing far worse.. if we got a tax cut, it all went to pay for higher tariffs

Infinitely worse than your loaded question would imply, since it suggests that everyone received some sort of financial benefit as a result of the changes.

I did not, and in fact owed more on the same income in a state with no income tax.

Bottom line: Trump lied about the tax cuts, yet no Trumpansie is willing to admit it

For me it's a tough call. I was in school getting my Navy Retirement plus GI Bill so my income was pretty much fixed until I started working a month ago.

No. I’m in good shape because of investments the bore fruit before Trump.

If anything, Trump and the Republicans are holding me back from being able to retire: if there were national healthcare I wouldn’t have to hang onto my job for insurance and someone younger could take it. Good job GOP 👌

Ty helen..my company lost 710 million dollars in 2017...they made a profit of 3.6 million in 2018 due to tax cuts. In the meantime I got back $2400 in 2017 and had to pay in $2300 in 2018. Plus 60 of the top companies in the US paid no taxes and a few still got millions in Fed tax returns. Then Trump has added over 2 trillion to the Fed defecit..you tell me whats fair and how I or other Americans are doing!

@TJNewton I have a few friends in similar positions however they live in EXTREMELY high cost areas and at least one of them spends his money on crap he doesn't need constantly. This moron bought 3 different TVs in 7 or 8 months all on credit.
