Why am I so scared of success and being happy?

@SimplyTracie I don't like that happiness can be fleeting so I chose to just be ok. I don't like being happy and then losing it.

@JovialPlutonian interesting 🤔 it's maybe because that's how most of my life can be described. Happiness is like uncharted territory and a new frontier. Suffered for quite a while that I'm not sure how to handle prolonged success.

@dark548 I can relate, I've suffered depression for long periods of my life that being happy can feel quite alien.
