That’s called “initiative”

It's a natural defence mechanism that many people employ after being hurt one too many times. After some time you will realise that getting hurt is part of life and is not something to fear like it's inevitable that it's going to happen every time. That's like going on to every flight thinking that your plane is going to crash. Don't limit your world through fear of events that you will most likely survive.
