I have a scar running down the length of the palm of my left hand when I accidentally surprised our cat, and she leaped into the air and grabbed my hand on the way back down. I was about 14, the cat is long dead and now I treasure that scar as a tangible memory.

When I was 6, I was playing in a sprinkler I the yard when the neighbors daschund ran into the yard and clamped right onto my foot. I got 4 stitches and the dog did no have his rabies shots so they were supposed to keep it penned p and monitor it to see if I needed rabies shots. They let it out and it was hit and killed by a car. Fortunately they were able to test the dog for rabies and I did not have to get the shots.

My old dog (who passed away last November) was very fast, and would run headfirst into your shin if you weren’t watching out for her. I got some nice bruises, and my wife was regularly black and blue.
