Should cannabis be legalized

SW-User
Yes. But at the very least it should be removed from the schedule one list of narcotics.

I'm Canadian and it has been "legalized" here.
Only government cannabis though...no one ever mentions that part LOL
GeorgeTBH · 31-35, M
@LucyFuhr its all legal to smoke but you have to buy it from the "government" legally
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
@Ynotisay The quality is below the standards of anyone who's familiar with the good stuff LOL It's even lower if you put it under a scope 😉

It's also very expensive. Even the medical mmj.

@LucyFuhr Interesting. I'm in California and expected both prices to go up and quality to go down but it hasn't gone down that way. Maybe it's the difference between Federal and State laws

Why not I'll be doing it either way
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
My vote is on yes.
Ynotisay · M
Sure. Everywhere it can be controlled so the black market, and crazy criminal penalties, can be eliminated.
GeorgeTBH · 31-35, M
it is here in canada for almost a year now
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
It just was here in Illinois
@GJOFJ3 no till Jan 1
I thought it was.
It already is in Canada
@Llort I don’t think so...
As long as I don't have to hide it from cops

@submissivelittlewoman
I understand that..
But I read an article about people being unhappy with the poor quality and the high price..

I'm sure that they don't have that problem out west though, BC bud is famous for being excellent smoke..

On the east coast, they haven't got the hang of it apparently.
Reject · 26-30, M
Yes, if only for the research so people can have more proof of it's harmful effects.
Reject · 26-30, M
@Llort The truth is we don't know yet how unhealthy marijuana is. We need more funding for research which is hard to get while marijuana remains illegal.
With that thought process we should legalize everything to better study it
Reject · 26-30, M
@Llort Other illegal substances are fairly obvious in how damaging they are so the extensive study for them isn't as needed to see what they do to people.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
It is and nothing much changed.
@hippyjoe1955 it isnt
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Llort It is in Canada. Nothing much changed. There isn't that high a demand for the crap.
Sure, until some pothead crashes into my car and kills my family (and me too)
😀😛 @Llort
Idk what that means either
It means I tread lightly. @Llort
