Slide a piece of paper under the bowl and let it go outside
Eat it like the Tennesseans.
SW-User
slide a sturdy sheet of paper under the bowl and you will have it trapped. then u can flip the bowl over and discard it.

If there's one roach, there may be more 😬

I remember when I saw I roach, I stabbed it with my xacto knife lol
I once caught a wasp under a glass in the kitchen. I held a can of compressed air upside down, slid the straw under the edge of the glass, and froze it.

@SooperSarah success :)

Wasps serve no purpose, you did the only correct thing, killed it.
@SW-User it was me or it...

Get a Kleenex and a piece of thread about a foot long. Trap the roach under the Kleenex and tie the thread around its neck. Then walk it like a dog.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@HoraceGreenley wow that would be tricky getting them to hold still long enough to wind that thread around them just right, they’d be bzzzzzzzz ing in protest the whole time I imagine.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@cherokeepatti You make a slip knot then tear a small hole in the Kleenex to expose just the head. Then you can slip the know over the head while you hold down the body under the Kleenex. It's surprisingly easy to do.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@HoraceGreenley thanks for the technique...it might come in hand some day.
EnigmaticGeek · 61-69, M
1. Open both the top and bottom of any box large enough to fit over the bowl.

2. Place the box over/around bowl, holding the bottom flaps open so they swing away from the bowl as it is lowered. Be sure that there are no gaps between the floor and the bottom edge of the box.

3. Remove bowl.

4. Kill (with spray, etc., or relocate roach using a smaller container, i.e. a bottle, etc., as desired.

5. **Bonus step** Tell therapist how self-sufficient you are.

peppermint oil suffocates it, watch it suffer.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@FinchFry orange oil dissolves the exoskeleton quickly. I use the spray to kill bugs and it just takes a very light mist to do the trick.
FinchFry · 26-30, F
That sounds really cool, and I'm down for some bug torture.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I buy orange air fragrance spray, they sell it at Walmart. When I see hundreds of ants in a trail getting into the sun room in the window sill I spray it and it takes care of all of them quickly.

Spray in there and kill it
SailorMarz · F
@SW-User You do it
SW-User
@SailorMarz I never said I would. I was giving a suggestion hahahaha
SW-User
🤣 I would usually let my brave sister deal with it for me
TexChik · F
Get a fly swatter out , move the bowl, and smack that thing !!
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Orange oil fragrance spray, it’s non-toxic, spray it around the bowl and then lift it up and let the roach crawl on it, it’ll dissolve it’s skeleton and it’ll die.
SW-User
You slide a paper or something that will hold under it and then take it outside.
Straylight · 31-35, F
You'll have to move out. I cant see any other alternatives.
