At what age did you stop pursuing big goals and start to feel peace and contentment?

I never really had any goals. Only created general outlines of goals a couple years ago. I lived most of my life in the present, hedonistically, so the future never mattered to me, until a few years ago.


I don't think one can ever stop pursuing goals. I think peace and contentment comes from achieving goals, and if you lose those, you lose peace and contentment. Only the ladder is real.

At 999 years old I guess. Will see if I ever get there.
