Why our age was not 9 month when we were born?

We lived 9 month inside a womb..😅

Well we weren't living and surviving on our own during that time, so our birth marks the start of life when we actually start being an independent life

You know what annoys me?

When mothers give their kids age in months...

“O this is Timmy, he’s 13 months”

Hi timmy! I’m user41.

I’m 396 months old.
Lmbo! @User41
Gestational age is the common term used during pregnancy to describe how far along the pregnancy is.

The fetus’ brainwaves are not detectable until around the third week after conception, but since conceptions are not directly observed at the moment they happen... it’s tough to say exactly how old the child is in this case.

Would you say twins are exactly the same age, or is the twin that born first, the oldest?
"In Korea, everyone is 1 from the time they are born. And everyone gets a year older on New Year’s day. So your Korean age is always either one or two years older than your Western age. And yes, a baby born on New Year’s Eve can be two years old the next day, although in practice people wait awhile before they start talking about somebody’s Korean age."

Because it counts how long we’ve been born.

[c=#BF0000]Yeah if you think about it.. you actually came into the world 9 months before as a zygote so like if I'm born on 2nd May '98 then really I actually came into this world in August '97 🤔[/c]

Personally, I think that including gestation time in in a person's age was a concept of a bored person with way too much time on their hands...but that's just me.
I’m told that some cultures do calculate age in that manner, which was a surprise to me. I assumed it universally was the day of one’s birth, because that’s easier to keep track of. Not everyone spends exactly nine months in the womb.

dont forget you lived in your dads balls as a sperm for however long it was
Coz we were practically inside our mom...aka...not visible.
