what is it about Ghana

Why is it every time i meet a woman from Ghana on here she wants to get to know me and then she wants me to send her money. Do they do this for a living or some thing

They do treat it as a job. All day long, they send scamming e mails, etc. Every now and then they are successful in luring someone in.
