I had a guy yell at me and I had tears in my eyes. It was a teaching lesson for sure but you can’t do that anymore.
You can probably sue the guy!

I had a manager do that at me at the McDonald’s I work at still, but she left after an argument with a customer over an order gone wrong.
Not only not good for business, but obviously the manager (boss) is not aware of the tenet in supervisor/subordinate relations: "Praise in public, chastise in private." And if any parents w/ children were present, if the F bomb was repeatedly being loudly used, the guy's corporate people need to be told.

@soar2newhighs it's a small business that he owns
It does not excuse his handling of an employee in the manner reported. If the employee was so wrong in whatever he/she did, the boss should at the end of the worker's shift, in writing explain his/her actions were not acceptable and hand him/her that telling them they've had their last day's employment there.@chuck7882

That can’t be good for the employees either. No reason to swear.

It sure wouldn't be good to keep my business. I wouldn't go to that jerk chef's restaurant either. There is no food that good.

I've worked at places that had that sort of boss. I quit right after the first and only time each tried to pull that crap on me.

You should've reported that bastard to his senior manager or whoever is above him in position tho
abe182 · 46-50, M
I don't pay to hear that! Any of it. Report them to the franchise.

Terrible

No, I have not witnessed that but I would not do business with a place where the boss did that. I'd walk out and notify the owner.
