What about western religion or values makes suicide such an unacceptable option?

SW-User
I think it's something to do with wasting God's gift, but i don't remember. As for values, dead people aren't helpful, and only the living feel the pain from it.

The misconception that life is valuable mainly. Like, all life is precious so we have to fight for it. For me, the only time I feel suicide is an unacceptable option is when the person is using suicide to avoid something such as going into debt and not wanting to pay it off, or something similar to that. Also, giving up on life way too early.

Individualism, it's impossible to justify suicide while also claiming that the most important segment of society is the individual (in contrast to equally peacefull but collectivist Asian cultures)

Based on the preciousness of life..
