Who do you consider the greatest coach of all time (any sport) ??

John Wooden. He was more than a coach; he excelled at teaching life skills and making his student-athletes into civically minded, socially conscious, morally responsible men. He taught principled life lessons that would serve them long after they left the arena of sport.

@otto78 😌 TY for BA and kudos to Coach Wooden who left behind a legacy unmatched and unlikely to be repeated, unfortunately. I only know a little of what he taught and it helps me.

@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy I was born in Lexington, KY and raised on Wildcat basketball. I marvel at what he did during his tenure at UCLA. Listening to Kareem and Bill Walton made me want to know more about the man. I've studied a little of his teaching and used his pyramid of success as a guide. Remarkable man.

BTW the 'Heels are looking Final Four worthy. Perhaps our teams will battle for the ticket to Minneapolis! All the best to you.
