@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy Keep up the good work, no matter what they say. 🌷

Only if there's a way to do so that doesn't result in even more suffering. It's very common for an allegedly well-meaning nation to intervene in another state to stop some atrocity, but make the situation worse in the process. A good example is U.S. involvement in the Syrian Civil War.
@BlueVeins Iraq, Vietnam...
BlueVeins · 22-25
@bijouxbroussard Yup. I went with Syria because human rights abuses are basically the only reason why we (said we) went in there to begin with.
@BlueVeins That’s what we claimed regarding the others, too. To “liberate” the people from “unjust” regimes.

Based on the track record of the US, only if there are natural resources in said country that the US can liberate.
helenS · 36-40, F
@anathemaJack That's not the point. Name their natural resources please.
anathemaJack · 46-50, M
@helenS Their proximity to the US doorstep. The US can't have another Cuba.
helenS · 36-40, F
@anathemaJack Ok then…
No. Only the United States. All the other countries are obligated to cause tragedy and the US is obligated to get in there and end it. If everyone knows their lines, and what to do, let's [c=#003BB2] GET OUT THERE AND MAKE SOME DAMN HISTORY! OOOOORHA![/c]
@Dainbramadge Yeah! I've been alright! The self alienation is coming along splendidly! Good to see you again.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@puck61 :-). We will have to catch up soon.
@Dainbramadge I have been pretty busy for several days now. Prettying up rich people's yards and stuff. Started hitting the whiskey again, but I nipped that in the bud. My body just can't take my abuse anymore! I 'did' quit smoking though, and that is going well! I'm actually starting to get used to NOT having a cigarette!

It’s men’s greed and those countries self interests that put the shithole in place to begin with
Theseus · 46-50, M
Individuals do; countries do not. Google private armies.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Not if they can't help their own people first.
No they don't. How would you like a stranger come and tell you how you will run your home from now on? Putting someone they prefer in charge of your family?
Simply let the revolution happen or not and wait for the victor to ASK for assistance first.
@Anonymartyr Someone always asks! It's funny though, the Balkans was a big deal, but Rwanda wasn't anything to be bothered with.............🤔
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
I don't know if I by into that brothers keeper stuff myself. Not every country with the means should feel the need to police the turmoil in another country just because they can.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
That was supposed to be " buy into ". LOL
Rickg · 31-35, M
I’d lean towards yes
But I can see why ppl would question why they should risk the lives of their young people in a foreign conflict and risk getting entangled in war

I think that would be for the best. Still grateful for the Allies who freed Europe and stopped the attempt to wipe out the Jews.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Only if the country has the cash to pay for assistance
often times we hear the talking heads..... "You arent gonna just sit back and let this go on are you"...... then ten minutes after you mobilize to stop it...... "there they go again, trying to play world police"...... this is a no win situation.
leaving that country in ruin and the dispute not solved
and all that with one eye on their wealth

Do you think you have an ethical responsibility to stop a mass murderer in your neighbor's house?

@Overwatch6 no doubt you were treated better by some of the iraqis compared to alot of the liberals in the US.

If they’re invited too..
Firestarter · 26-30, F
Yes I sure do.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
If said country claims to espouse support for human and civil rights, they can’t maintain “friendships” with nations notorious for genocide, murder, and say nothing about those violations. That is, they shouldn’t, it would be unethical. We know that it’s done all the time. 😞
BlueVeins · 22-25
@bijouxbroussard cough cough Myanmar
I believe the UN says they do
