I sometimes get a private message from someone claiming to be a woman, but she is not someone I recognize at all. We have had no conversations in public; neither of us has replied to anything that the other has posted. By, now, I can predict what will happen next.
After a few meaningless lines like "how are you" comes the predictable "can I ask you a question?" or some such line, and immediately "she" wants to get into sexual conversations and/or send me provocative pictures. Often "she" is supposedly in a real-life situation that is a bit far-fetched and tries to get a response from me.
Depending on my mood, I either just stop replying, or I reply with innocent-sounding questions that point out the holes in "her" story, just to see how resourceful the guy is at patching up his BS. It is amazing to me how often they do not recognize what I am doing when I take the latter course! lol
Members who added groups like "I Think Women Should Obey Men" "I Believe Women Should Submit To Anal Domination" "I Incest" "I Circumcision Should Be Mandatory"
Posts which are OBVIOUSLY designed to be racist, sexist, abusive or just downright unpleasant. I suspect they are posted by trolls but I always enjoy trying to get them to justify their comments. That can lead to some 'interesting' conversations! 😁

@Happymedium this wasn't. It was just odd. I wasn't talking about ghosting..they were just gone, and it wasn't an established friendship. I look at ghosting like this: it's the internet, plenty of great people here. Forget about who ghosts you.
When I get a message out of the blue from a woman.
Eventually she shows a photo of a woman in a thick coat. It is some fetish. I already know it is not "her" for real because I already found the photo online using an image search. When I confronted "her" the first time, I was blocked.
Then it happened a month later! LOL! Different name yet I caught on fast when the conversation went to coats and then I got the photo again.
Other than the spanking and diaper posts... Azzhole comments on posts that don't deserve azzhole comments. Doesn't inspire me to want to be friends, etc.
To me, it’s the empty profiles. Far too many of those here!!!! I don’t know if I got my conditioning at EP on this, but when I see them trying to contact me, I run the other way! And almost never regret it. 😒
