On the other hand, human menstruation cycle being around same as the Moon cycle WOULD make some more sense, because having consciousness & reasoning ability, human women could then use moon phase to determine when they were most likely to get pregnant both to ensure best offspring & try to time it so resources were available.
Fun fact: The menstrual synchronization of close together women often cited most likely doesn't exist, either, but people love to look for patterns anywhere they can.
