Have you ever had a weird dream that you could never forget and it still haunts you when you remember it?

I have had many dreams I will never forget. Dreams can be very disturbing. I would not say I am haunted by them, however, and I've had some that were very frightening.

What helps me to cope is knowing that the elements contained within dreams are not literal elements. At night while we sleep, the subconscious attempts to solve problems of our daily lives.

The subconscious has its own language of symbols, and the symbols in our dreams do not usually mean what they seem to mean on the surface.

I use online dream analyzers to break down the symbols of my dreams if they are disturbing to me. That way I gain insight into the issues my subconscious brain is trying to solve.

Oh dang it, yes. Several, but they don't haunt me. They just tell me I still know nothing.

Had dreams that have bothered me for days but not haunt me 10 years later or anything...

I have had many weird dreams but I never let them haunt me. I do however write them down and keep them in mind. Some are actually warning dreams.
