would you marry someone who does not agree with you on pro life or pro choice

would you marry someone who is pro pro choice when you are pro life or vise versa?
I think I would be fine with it unless the guy would think less of me or think I'm immoral because of my beliefs.

No, nor would I fuck them. I got myself sterilized so it wouldn't be a worry for me personally but I don't think anyone should fuck men who think women shouldn't have control over their bodies. They're basically low key rapists.

[c=#7700B2]my partner disagrees with me on this. I am pro life and he is pro choice and it doesn't effect our relationship one bit. I don't see why it would [/c]

@PlumBerries I think it would be different if it we're switched though.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#7700B2]no i don't think it would. We disagree on a lot of things and not once have we ever judged each other over it. I like that he has different opinions and thinks different to me [/c]
I couldn't be in a relationship with a male who had such definite opinions on what my body should be doing. No motherfucker, stay in your own lane.
@dragonfly46 yea Im always so surprised for men to have such strong feelings on being pro life and their defense is some women are pro life. Im pro choice and I am more fine with a woman being pro life then a man, men dont have to deal with pregnancy so they dont have a leg to stand on in this issue pointing out that there are women that agree with them does not help their issue. I just hate that I fell for a guy that is so strongly pro choice, they think your a monster just for your beliefs. I think there is a way it could work but its hard to find.

If we disagreed on this issue, I think there would be a high probability that we would disagree on other serious issues as well. So, probably no.

No, because if it ever came up that would be the end of the relationship anyway

Nah, I can already see myself being blackmailed if I do
Djac17 · 22-25, M
Well they say opposites attract, but it's tough sometimes when couples have opposing views, Especially over something like that
@Djac17 i hear that often but i do not think that is true. thats why the us divorce rate is so high people actually listen to that.
SW-User
It depends if they can see it from both sides
DrSunnyTheSkeptic · 26-30, M
I wouldn't really care about that to be honest, it's not something that would affect me much, unless of course we were in the situation where that is exactly the matter

I'm Anti-Establishment, Anarchy Pacifist & into Contributionism but I generally prefer left leaning politics & people who help people (not money) for friends, connections or relationships.

Yes I would
[c=#359E00]i will not marry someone with different belief/ideology with me, i'm a firm believer of homogenity[/c]

Yeah.

People are crazy.

It’s just opinions.

We are all just a bunch of opinions.
SkeetSkeet · 100+, F
No. You need someone who supports you when you go through something like that.
