Should illegal aliens be allowed to vote as Dems are voting for

GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Aha. No. They’re, bet you couldn’t guess, ILLEGAL. They shouldn’t be here in the first place and shouldn’t have any say in our government. I don’t know why that’s a hard concept for many to grasp.

Update: House Democrats voted Friday to defend localities that allow illegal immigrants to vote in their elections, turning back a GOP attempt to discourage the practice. As The Washington Times reports, the vote marks a stunning reversal from just six months ago, when the chamber - then under GOP control - voted to decry illegal immigrant voting

@Razorback according to our current Representatives asking for picture id or proof of citizenship is discrimination and voter suppression.

@GJOFJ3 No need to talk me out being for illegal immigrants and non-citizens voting. I'm not. But the paragraph you're quoting only states there are too many hoops for legal citizens to jump through. Nowhere does he say that he doesn't want to keep any of them in place, nor that he wants to remove the first two.

Which Democrat is advocating that?

The measure would have had no practical effect even if it had passed. Illegal immigrants — and indeed noncitizens as a whole — are not legally able to participate in federal elections.
Experts say as many as 40 states or territories allowed noncitizen voting dating back to the nation’s founding.

No way! The Democrats have been braying about foreign interference in our elections since Trump was elected, but the hypocrites WANT foreign interference as long as they're voting Democrat!

No, that won't stop Dems though. They need the voters and ethics went out the window a long time ago.
