What is the best tattoo cream?

Is it really necessary to put lotion on a new tattoo? (a very small one, btw)

Yes it is necessary to keep your new tat moist. It is going to peel as it is you don't want it be be any worse.

Not really . I didn't use it.

Just take some cotton, warm water and clean it once in the morning and once in the night before sleep

@TheProtectedOfOrion yes. If you have sensitive skin and live in a place where a lot of pollution and dust, then use a cream.

If you stay indoors all the time then it's useless

Yes it is very important. I used AD ointment on my newest and it looks great.

Keep in mind how often to put ointment depends on location AND weather.

I used cocoa butter when mine were new. Lotioning the tat while it's healing helps keep it from drying out and peeling.
